Proptech LIVE.

Queensland’s flagship event for the Proptech and Contech ecosystem

Empowering Tomorrow's Property Frontier:  "Elevating the spaces where we live, work, play, learn, and journey"

Proptech LIVE is a proud foundational event of Something Fest—Queensland’s digital, technology and innovation festival—launched in 2022 with three simple goals:

  • To strengthen capabilities in organisations big and small
  • To increase collaboration between government, industry and emerging tech
  • To showcase the fantastic innovations that are happening right here in our backyard

Proptech LIVE is Queensland’s annual flagship event celebrating the incredible work being done across Brisbane, Southeast Queensland, and the broader state to drive innovation, sustainability, and productivity in the real estate, property, and construction sectors.

Our ongoing theme, "Empowering Tomorrow’s Property Frontier: Elevating the Spaces Where We Live, Work, Play, and Journey," continues in 2025 with a sharpened focus on the role of technology and innovation in delivering Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games infrastructure.

What to Expect in 2025:

Proptech LIVE 2025 will feature two core components:

1. Morning Program at Something Tech – Main Stage
Join us on the main stage of Something Tech, as we take part in the opening ceremony of Queensland’s leading technology festival. This dynamic session will explore the critical role of digital innovation in delivering the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This jam-packed morning will feature keynote presentations, tech talks, and sector-specific discussions to help the proptech and contech ecosystem better understand the government and industry landscape leading into Brisbane 2032.

2. The Proptech Long Lunch at Naldham House
Following the morning program, Proptech LIVE will host the highly anticipated Proptech Long Lunch at the iconic Naldham House, right in the heart of Brisbane.

Through a curated and thought-provoking conversation, we will unpack the opportunities and challenges of adopting innovation in the built environment. Together, we will explore the potential for technology to transform not only the delivery and operation of major infrastructure, but also its enduring legacy.

The conversation will be led by Matthew Mackey, Service Leader at Arcadis, and will commence with insights from:

  • Jack Hutchinson, Director, Hutchinson Builders
  • Jess Caire, Executive Director QLD, Property Council of Australia
  • Louise Monger, Vice President, Digital Energy, Schneider Electric

Interactive Q&A and delegate-led dialogue will ensure all voices in the room contribute to shaping this critical conversation.

As a key output of the event, Proptech BNE. will publish a thought leadership paper capturing the themes, insights, and strategic discussions, highlighting how Brisbane can harness innovation and technology to set a new global standard for innovative infrastructure.

Proptech LIVE – The Long Lunch is exactly what the name suggests: an unforgettable opportunity to engage deeply with industry leaders, share ideas over an exceptional meal and drinks, and play your part in building the future of Australia’s property and construction sectors, all from the historic surrounds of Brisbane’s iconic Naldham House.
